Claire is a senior HR leader working for many years in strategic roles an international environment.  Claire started her career as a solicitor working first in private practice, before moving to an in-house legal role and then becoming a HR director in the chemical industry working for many years for PPG Industries. 

Claire has extensive experience organisational in development, culture, and inclusivity.  She is passionate about the advancement of women and founded PPG’s Swiss Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) and is global co-sponsor of PPG’s WLN as well as being part of the board of BPW.

Claire grew up in the UK, studied law at Nottingham Trent University and completed her Law Society Finals at Chester College of Law.  Claire is a lifelong learner, completing many training and development programmes, she has a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching, a CIPD Advanced Award in Organisational Design and Development.  More recently she has run a series of workshops with likeminded individuals on wisdom in the workplace. Claire also serves as chair of trustees for PPG’s UK pension fund. 

Claire moved to Switzerland in 2010 with her husband and two daughters and all have thrived in the Swiss way of life, embracing the love of nature and outdoor activities, and discovering a supportive international network of friends.  She is passionate about the outdoors and has taken up running and hiking, plus more the relaxing pursuits of pilates and reading.

Claire was invited to join a BPW Lake Geneva event on diversity and inclusion in 2019 and has been a member and part of the community ever since. The club provides Claire with a unique blend of lively and interesting topics to share with a diverse group of professional, open minded and warm-hearted women and she is delighted to service on the board.
